Pearsall's
SilkPearsall's was established in 1795 as manufacturers and merchants of fine silks for embroidery and sewing. Some of the silk threads and flosses have been in constant use in England since that time for needlework and ecclesiastical vestments.
Pearsall’s is well known for "Filoselle," a 6-strand silk floss. This is a filament thread of finest quality with a beautiful sheen. Today’s color line of 339 colors has some of the original hues plus modern additions, a virtual feast for the eyes! Filoselle is perfect for embroidery, needlepoint, heirloom sewing, counted thread and smocking.
The Royal School of Needlework has a long tradition of using Pearsall’s silks. Visit their Web site for more information about their excellent classes.
The rich color families allow for wonderful shading and contrast. Click on the name of a color family in the list below to view that portion of the color card.

In addition to the individual skeins of each color, we also offer Samplings of Silk, four one-yard lengths of related colors tucked in a convenient zip lock bag.
Our newest addition to the Pearsall's line are scrumptious variegated colors, twelve beautifully subtle shadings for your stitching pleasure.
You may order Pearsall's silk online at our Web site, or from one of our retail outlets.
